Prototyping

Today we began prototyping in class. We had already done some prototyping over the break so this was our second time.

Rather than wait for us so sort out our point of view statements and come up with a solid idea we just acted off 'a hunch' (where we were currently at). This meant that we came up with ideas that had not even thought of before as we were had never really got started on the solution because of our unfinished point of view statement.

I found this whole process really helpful as it forced us to get started on our current idea even if it may not be the best/most thought out and just make it work.

To be honest I was really how our prototypes worked out in a way. We ended up finding that even though we were right in the fact that our idea didn't work, that there were definitely some elements within the idea that we can and will take forward into our new idea.

We are going to go into town during their lunch break and ask them some questions. I feel that this is hugely important at this point in order to move forward without guessing. We really need to get our target audience stuff done so we really know who we are targeting and who we aren't.
